Great is the LORD and worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty- and I meditate on your wonderful works.
Psalm 145 is a song of praise for our King. It speaks about praising the LORD and sharing about his works with each generation. We often think about passing things on from an older generation to the younger generations. That is important, and we may learn from those younger than us too. COM celebrates God’s children of all ages. We embrace we learn from the trusting faith of a child, the questions and searching throughout life, and the wisdom and insight of others. Intergenerational ministry is a beautiful characteristic of our church. In the next couple of weeks, we will have opportunities to worship, cook hot dogs over a fire, make scarves, and share a Thanksgiving meal. We encourage you to share and listen to what the LORD is doing in each other’s lives. Together we may celebrate that we are Children of God and Living in the Kingdom!
